The People Behind Mar-Lac Builders

The company was founded in year 2002 by Richard G. Marquez, an industrial engineering graduate of the University of the Philippines, and Edison B. Lacsa, an architecture graduate of the University of Santo Tomas.

Richard G. Marquez serves as the president of Mar-Lac Builders. His management expertise was tested and honored in such companies as Solutions Consultancy Group, SPL Worldgroup Philippines, Union Bank of the Philippines, Software Research and Development Corporation, Philippine Cotton Corporation, The Varian Industrial Corporation, and the Manila Electric Company.

Edison B. Lacsa, the principal architect of E.B. Lacsa Architects, serves as the vice president. His vast experience in the field includes stints at Premaline Development Realty Corporation, Architects Fedore Yap Association, and R.A. Resurrection and Engineers.

Backing them up is a team of top-notch consultants including:

Ramy C. Maniva, the principal architect of R.C. Maniva & Associates, serves as Mar-Lac's Principal Design Consultant for Offshore Work. While working as a Design Architect in Malaysia, he was involved in the design of multi-storey office buildings, condominiums, shopping complexes, resorts, hotels, subdivisions, and township master planning. He has also worked with other firms in the United States, Australia and London.
